Purpose The position is responsible for supervision of all aspects of Engineering and Technical Services. That includes supervising personnel responsible for:
management of geographic information system (GIS); management, development and deployment of work/asset management system; management of Operations field records; management of rights-of-way planning; management of operating procedures; management of emergency response procedures; management of public awareness program and education programs; field inspection and quality assurance/acceptance & quality control; management of approved materials and products; system analysis; management of pressure testing documents. The Lead is additionally responsible for managing distribution and transmission integrity management programs, managing special projects (especially XHP related projects), material quality testing (destructive and non-destructive), maximum allowable operating pressures, class location studies, and liaising with engineering consultants. The position will also be responsible for a rotating after-hours on call requirement. Accountabilities Ensuring transmission integrity requirements are being met, including identification of HCAs and threats, assessments, reporting, notifications, preventative and mitigative measures, continual evaluation, program effectiveness, remediation of indications Administration and management of distribution integrity program, which is risk based evaluation, currently through use of SHRIMP tool. Ensuring that work and asset management systems are accurate and properly managed. Ensuring that required records are consistently produced, housed and managed. Ensuring that all reasonable steps are being taken to reduce the likelihood of damage to facilities. Ensuring that PHMSA Part 191 & 192 as well 16 NYCRR Part 255 requirements are met. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Prior experience leading or supervising teams 10

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
